Blackpool’ - The Biggest Dance Venue Conquered by Step By Step Dance Couple!

'STEP BY STEP' DANCE COUPLE DAVID ROBERTS & ANDREA LAW SWEEP TO VICTORY AT BLACKPOOL

On Saturday 9th January 2010 local couple David Roberts (Banbury) and Andrea Law (Bicester) danced their way to success in the 'Champions Of Tomorrow' Ballroom and Latin dancing competition at the Empress Ballroom in the Winter Gardens, Blackpool, The pinnacle of dance in this country!

David and Andrea, trained by International Dance Champion and Founder of Step By Step Dance School Andrzej Mialkowski, danced their way through the rounds of their highest level of competition yet to reach the finals of both the Ballroom and Latin finals in the Senior Pre-Amateur category.  Having danced the Rumba, Samba and Cha Cha Cha in the Latin section they were elated to be placed 1st and win the championship.  They also danced the Waltz, Tango and Quickstep in the Ballroom section and were placed 4th in the final. 

David and Andrea have only been dancing together for 18 months and have already achieved the prestige of several outstanding Dance Titles. These include being crowned 'Britain's Best' in Latin at Bournemouth in September 2009, the 'City of Birmingham Latin Champions' and more recently crowned 'City of Gloucestershire Latin Champions' which qualified them to dance at

Blackpool. Eight competitions entered, and a rake of Titles impressively establishing them as a Significant British Dance couple for the future and a brilliant inspiration for all the other dancers in Step By Step Dance School!

This new Title now means they are being entered into The British Closed Ballroom and Latin Championships held in September 2010.  They are really keen to add this to their trophy collection, and are determined to push themselves even further and train even harder.When asked to comment on their tremendous achievements to date they said,"We are delighted with our achievement in Blackpool and can't wait to compete throughout 2010 with the aim of doing our very best in the British Closed event in September.  Naturally we have so much hard work to do and many, many hours of training ahead of us learning new choreography.  We would like to thank our teacher Andrzej Mialkowski who has helped and pushed us to get where we are.  We recommend that anyone interested in trying dance should contact 'Step by Step' Dance School at where they will find classes suitable for everyone.  We love dancing and like to share that enjoyment with other people, so come along and join us!"
